Tournament format will be 54 holes of stroke play over three courses and all competitors will play the same course each day.  

 

The field will be limited to ensure an acceptable pace of play and avoid the necessity of a cut.

 

 

The field will be comprised of  three divisions:

 

"Seniors", those players over 55 years of age, will play courses measuring between 6,500 and

6,700 yards.

 

"Super Seniors", those having reached their 65th birthday, will play courses measuring between 6,100 and 6,300 yards.

 

"Legends", those having reached their 70th birthday, will play  courses measuring between 5,800

and 6,000 yards.

 

The first round will be played at Callawassie Island Club with starting times at ten minute intervals beginning at 8:00  AM on Monday, May 24th.

 

The second round will be played at the Old Tabby Links on Spring Island with starting times at ten minute intervals beginning at 8:00  AM the following day.

 

The final round will utilize a shotgun start at 9:00 AM at the Chechessee Creek Club on Wednesday, May 20nd.  Chechessee Creek is a primarily a walking club and the base caddie fee for the required caddie is included in the tournament entry fee. Players in the" Super Senior" and "Legends" Divisions will  also be provided a motorized golf cart and a fore caddie.

 

Lunch and awards presentation will follow at the conclusion of play. 

 

As usual, breakfast and lunch will be provided all three days and is included in your entry fee.

 

There will be a cocktail reception, with drinks by signature, at the Chechessee Creek Club on Tuesday evening, May 25 th.
